Brand new RO giving 025 reading

all the pre-filters are brand new carbon and segment 
flushed for a good two hours and still the same
bought it from salt separation services in rochdale its the xle4040 membrane
am getting some resin putting my di vessel back in my van but thats not the point i want my water to at least 005 at base

please help

that is pants, are you using a booster pump? i'd be sending it back if that is the best it can do

booster pump, never had to use one before, my second to last lasted 5 years and gave me 002 up till the last point. everything the same, just maybe a different membrane.

when i restrict the reject water fully the psi meter goes up to 40psi never higher the n that in all its life does that sound right

Is the new membrane the same as the old one ??
Is the membrane a good quality usa made one or a cheap chinese one ??
Is the membrane a high or low pressure one ??

What is your tap tds?
Never fully restrict your reject water it will damage the membrane.
Run more water to waste.

Yeah it's me col. How are ya bud. Ill start letting more to waste from now on. Think its a low pressure one not sure I do know its a xle-4040. Not the same as my old one tho. Apparently it's from the USA
