Sitting at home again this morning with 6 inches of white stuff outside. I heard somewhere that the Earth is cooling and not warming up. A little confusing me thinks. So I thought I'd follow my hero Tosh (cough) and Google some stuff about it. Here's some of the stuff I found:

One point about it is, what if Global cooling is a fact and governments have imposed Green taxes to help keep their economies going, what will happen when Global warming turns out to be a load of cr@p?

The Eco people changed the message some time ago Remember the phrase Global warming well as some pf the articles above point out the world in some places was in fact cooling.

So how do you support the argument that mans intervention is damaging the planet? Simple change the message to one of Climate change! Then no matter what happens the Eco mob can always Blame climate chnage on what we are doing.

The climate has always been in flux and always will be no matter what we do. Heres another point while we are paying through the nose to try reduce carbon emissions The chinise and indians are building new coal fired power stations that will produce more carbon than we can ever save?

So are governments using climate change to raise taxation and revenue Absolutely yes

I have always wondered how we in Britian would be saving the world from disaster while the U S and the rest of the world belch out carbon. Or do we not live in the same atmosphere?

We have to show the rest of the world that we are better than they are, let them follow
our example.
Loosing all our work to countrys with cheaper power costs and our old people freezing to
death in winter.

global warming is a very outdated phrase.  climate change is a far better way to describe it.  weather becoming more extreme and less consistent with the seasons

Yeah, climate change (used to be called global warming) is caused by Western Europe emitting too much carbon blah blah blah. Anyway, it's had to be called global change so we can still pay the green taxes they imposed because the Earth was getting warmer, but is just getting extremer because it's getting colder warmer erm thingy. All I know is, we had the first frost here at the beginning of October. That's a long winter!!!

Anyway, the sea levels are rising (just ask the Dutch) and all the polar bears are treading water because all that ice has melted and made those islands disappear etc etc etc

I don't think there's any question that the Earth's climate is changing; like it's done many times in the past; the only question is what's causing it.

snowed in durham now every month for the last  6 months , and if they are right saying it will be a white easter that means 7 months , from October 2012 to April 2013 , looks like ice age is returning
