CAT 45
« on: March 15, 2013, 08:16:59 pm »
Can anyone on here recommend a supplier for CAT 45 spares.

I need 6 replacement valves and a new unloader.

I've emailed Cat Pumps but thought I'd ask on here too. Might save a few quid  ;)

Thanks

Ian

http://www.washdownsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/CAT_pump_spares.html or even maybe http://www.powerwashers.co.uk/main/index.php ....but you might need to take out a morgage!

Hi Chris, thanks for the links. I've seen the first already, qwashers on ebay too, but I was hoping for someone to tell me of a cheaper place to buy.

Not long changed the gearbox on my other PW so I'm a bit fed up of paying on parts at the mo  >:(

Any one else know of anywhere?

You could try exchange engineering ...that or bring some in from the USA. They might go undetected if you are lucky.

Hi Lee,

Yep, it had worked fine up until late December when I used it last. Had an all day job last Saturday and it played up some. Vibrating badly and losing pressure.

My engineer looked at it today and said the valves need replacing. Thinks the unloader worth swapping too, rather than run the risk of damaging te new valves.

Thanks for the post. I'll google them.

Check the bullet and spring isn't stuck in the unloader first mate.

Valves won't last forever but what I have experienced is Cat valves don't last as long as Interpumps.

Just noticed they've got an online catalogue now. Page 19, 25-731 is the order code.

Just been looking through it. I notice they're pattern parts. I tend to go with original parts but may well at almost half the price.

Thanks again
