Does anyone have one of these with a 500l or less tank in?

I'm about to buy one and would like a review

Ive got a 2004 with a 500ltr tank,
Very good van lots of power even with a full tank.
Good size twin side loading doors, ideal ban for a single operator imo

I've got an older 2.0ltr Hdi mate - easily get my Gardiners poles (22 & 27) in the back and I have a 600ltr tank bolted
Pulls really well - a lot better than the other experts I've driven

ive got a citroen nemo which i can fit my poles in.  no need at all to have a dispatch if youre on your own in my opinion

What happens if you get busier and need a bigger van? Aim a bit higher and soon you'll justify a bigger tank

Im looking at the L2 H1(lwb) but there isnt many used vans about.

There are plenty of swb so i am considering one of them,

I've got two dispatches. 1.9 poop like an d dog with 500L. And a hdi. Pulls anything I put in it. Hdi has a 650 steel frame and I also load it up with125L of barrels. Plus two men with two reels ect. I'd recommend the hdi. But burn the 1.9.

you can't fit a 500L with a citroen nemo,payload of 660kg only

i got swb 2007 on 07 reg very good van never did let me down but avoid the version with self levelling suspension its called panuomatic suspension  i think and its not good for carrying water so did couse me problems twice  othern than that noting  i had mine for over five years and just about the replace with a relay

IMO get the swb. The lwb really is overkill. I have the old shape 2.0hdi. Good van, owned from new 7 years old.

The new shape has a payload of either 1000 or 1200kg so will take a 500l tank and then some.

Good advice.

Some confusion in the posts above - up to and including early 2007 you got the old smaller shape with 900kg payload approx. mid-late 07 you got the newer shape at 1000kg.

The older ones have the same good reputation as the Pug/Fiat of the same design. The newer ones - be careful of any "clever suspension".

Mate do some research on the turbos in these vans.mate of mine has just spent £1500 as the turbo went twice in 5 months. My advice get some reviews.

you cheeky git.  the nemo can carry ladders and 300 litres easily. when the round gets big enough to employ another person i will buy a bigger van, but until then theres no point in spending thousands on a higher cost of vehicle, road tax insurance fuel and servicing bills, unless you need the larger van to compensate for other short falls. 
my ambition is less related to my size of van, and more to how i use the van
