Faux Leather repair and cleaning
« on: March 02, 2013, 11:17:18 am »
Hi guys yesterday i did loads of faux leather (vinyl/false leather) conference chairs 110 in all they they are white seat and backs on stainless steel legs and they came up great, however some of the corners show ware with bits of white missing showing a grey backing. Can leather repair pens work on Faux/vinyl furniture or is there a repair kit made for Faux leather. The client is over the moon whith how clean they came up and i"f I can sort the corners out they will be my friend forever"
any information appreciated

little trick i learned when valeting cars many moons ago was with cigarette burns in car seats. Get a paint touch up stick from halfords as close the the colour as possible and dab a bit on the offending bit, it wont rub off and makes the seat look even better.

Leather Repair Pens will work fine on vinyl for minor touch ups.
