Silk Wall Paper
« on: March 03, 2013, 09:06:16 pm »
Hi There ,

has any body got any tips/suggestions on cleaning silk wall paper.
Grubby round light switches and draught marks around door joints.
Tried dry fabric cleaner on cotton wool pads to test and this did bring some off although limited results.
Any ideas or experience with this people have had is welcome .
Thanks
Tom

Have you tried using a chemical sponge.  Had reasonable success with these on a couple of occasions.

in the past ive used good old sugar soap, the key is to wipe with sugar soap and dry wipe straight away, making sure there are no smear marks !!
do a smear test  ;D ;D
