pump for ro 300
« on: February 06, 2013, 11:29:38 am »
hi all, hope you have made lots of cash today,
anyway at the moment i have to produce my pure water in my kitchen due to house being back to front so no hose pipes trailing into sheds.   i use a 300  RO system ,  also use a Diaphram pump  1.2lpm.    125psi.   this was all set up when i bought gear as a package.   it takes me 1 hour to fill a 25litre drum up,   so usually do 2 a night.    i cant post pics on here for some reason otherwise you can see my set up,      but i can email to anyone who thinks they can help me out,    i have read in forums of some decent pumps from machine mart they use.    if there is another way for me to make quicker that would be great,    if anyone is in my situation and have found a way to do it if you could help me out.     ive toggled with the idea of getting a y piece connector to go under my sink with on / off switches on them    the same way the washer connects up under the sink,   just join a second pipe on   then connect to a good pump,   then into a 200+ litre barrel.     l will then be able to get more bigger properties to clean with backpack,      then look into more wfp work   knowing i have the water production i can rely on.

yawn  yawn,   i know . ??? ???       id rather use my RO to keep resin costs down.

ive ordered fitments for my RO and pump  so i can connect hosepipe tubing  to  see if this is quicker than the 1/4 RO tubing.          @ the moment im sucking water from a 25litre drum via inlet to pump    going into ro,  then coming from RO into another 25 drum . headache.      need a constant supply of water  connecting  to the  pump going into ro  to  fill water butt..
