We do. Do your research first, find out who you should be speaking to and ask to be put through to them direct. If they say "who's calling?" Just use your first name.
When you speak to the right person use something that sounds natural to you, if you try and use 'a line' it'll sound rehearsed and they'll bin you before you start.
Use words like 'help you' 'free' 'no obligation quote'.
Lots of companies get lots of calls so try and stand out-just. Be memorable and inviting.
