I've not moved my things arond for a few weeks so I ws wondering what configuration you have for your system.

I noticed on Lee Pryors video he has off the shelf ports to the side.

i take my reel out the back of van and just point it in the direction is needs to be.i have quite a long hose from the pumpbox to reel so sometimes i can take the reel out of van and bring it round to the front of the van before reeling out.(useful on a few commercial jobs where parking is awkward.

i think outside ports so i can lock the van are the order of the day on my next van though.

Outside ports are good, but in the freezing weather useless, as they freeze up ( even with lagging ) !

I have my reel clamped to the floor using pipe fittings (so if I need to I can yank it out). The pole is already connected so open the back doors and away I go. I use pole hose as my main hose so I can actually shut the door on the hose and lock it (without crimping the hose).

I have a drain point on mine to stop this happening overnight and hot water to stop it during the day.

The hoses are mounted onto a swivel which is on a roller bearing slider drawer that you pull from the rear of the Landy.

I don't know if you can make it out on the picture?

Roof mounted inside my van above the tank  at the sliding door. There is no way of getting into the van with this side door open.I want to mount my gas heater inside this door as well, but I need to plan this one.So when the heater is on fumes will go out of the van.

Back door reel - fixed at back on floor, straight out door.
Side door reel - through a hinge mounted roller guide that sticks out beyond the line of the van.
It's a game of three halves!
