II.2) Quantity or scope of the contract
II.2.1) Total quantity or scope:
The Council is seeking to work collaboratively in a partnership with
suitable and competent contractors to undertake building cleaning in a
range of council (and other public bodies) properties, including Schools,
Academies, Offices, Libraries, Day Centres, Youth Centres and Fire
Stations.
Tenderers will be invited to bid for any or all of the three lots. The
estimated annual value of the contract is £1,100,000.
The contract duration will be for 2 years with provision to extend for a
further 2 years on a year by year basis, this is a potential contract for
up to 4 years.
All documentation relating to this process is hosted on the following

III.1.1) Deposits and guarantees required:
A £10,000 bond of guarantee will be required for each lot.
In addition to this a bond of £8,247 will be required for the Mid Dorset
Contract where four members of staff currently paying into the Local
Government Pension Scheme and employed directly by the school will be
transferring onto this contract.

required under this Section or has not supplied such information;
(h) has been the subject of a conviction for participation in a criminal
organization, as defined in Article 2(1) of Council Joint Action

Article 3 of the Council Act of 26 May 1972 and Article 3(1) of Council
Joint Action 98/742/JHA3 respectively;
(j)has been the subject of a conviction for fraud within the meaning of
Article 1 of the Convention relating to the protection of the financial
interests of the European Communities;
(k) has been the subject of a conviction for money laundering, as defined
in Article 1 of Council Directive 91/308/EEC of 10 June 1991 on prevention
of the use of the financial system for the purpose of money laundering.
