Buying R O membranes
« on: January 27, 2013, 01:54:09 pm »
I have read on this forum you can buy a 150 gal membrane that will fit into a standard 100 gal housing. If this is so were can I buy them from?

Give Gaps water treatment a call on 01706 521074, they might be able to help.  :)

I got my 3 x 150 GPM membranes from Daqua, when i upgraded my ro.
Had them in my ro for nearly 2 years still producing good low tds water.

Hi Steve Are they the 150 gal in the larger housing or the standard 100 gal housing.

Same housing as you have got.

If you are buying from Daqua just also ask for the correct restrictor valve as well.

Our R/O originally had 75 gpd membranes and replacing them with 150 gpd made all the difference.

Thanks chaps. Called them, an excellent price.I thought it would cost a lot more, very surprised. I paid that for my last 100 galls ones. Daqua are a class company always good service like Gardeners, we need more of these.

Its the best upgrade for such a little - 50% more water production. I can't see why 100GPD membranes are still so popular TBH.
