o /p machines

There has, for some time been healthy debate on American boards about the oscillating pad system of cleaning'

It's origins are, way back in the late 1940's and there has been a lot of development in recent years.

I imported a little o/ p machine some years ago and always wished I could get a version that was .........

light enough to lift and carry, possibly with removable weights for adding while working
strong enough to withstand the rigours of daily use

I know there is a larger version of the Orbiter, which migh meet this criteria, but don't think it's available in the UK

anyone know better ?

I've got the Oreck Orbitor and the Lowboy ( its big brother) both orbital machines.

Both machines are available from Oreck Commercial UK.

the orbitor is the best aggitator around and is easily better than a Sebo Duo ( once you get the brush worn in & get used to it)

they are not cheap.

Thank you Mikel

I have used the little orbiter in the past, also as an aggitator but found it pulled out an awful lot of the cut pile in some carpets, due to the narrow brush.
Tried  the same machine  ' experimentally ' with bonnets, but it was too light.

I will contact Oreck for spec' of the Low boy
