Hi mate, it is fully reconditioned in the way that it has had all new seals in the pump, 2 new pistons, new unloader valve, full engine service, all oils in pump, gearbox and eninge, basically it's had a full overhaul, even got a new fuel tank and cowling as the other was a bit worn and tatty, it works spot on mate and should easily be trouble free for a year, if not alot longer if looked after, plus it is a top piece of kit where in the way that if anything goes then spare parts can always be replaced as opposed to buying a whole new machine, that is what you pay for, it works out cheaper to buy something like this in the long run...
And yes, it is ideal for start up package, I use these kind of setup every day and had no problems with the likes of driveway cleaning, gum removal (with hot box) graffiti removal, wagon washing etc.
if you buy anything less than this to begine with then you will soon want to upgrade, where as this will tackle all domestic and 90% of commercial jobs (maybe even 100 % but would just take a little longer)
