Ive sent out numerous commercial canvassing letters and I intend to follow them up with a phone call today, But not so strong on the phone, they say when sending out leaflets you have approx 7 seconds to catch their attention and I know from ad Phone calls Iv'e had that after 3 or 4 seconds all I want to do is get them off the phone , So what do you all say to potential customers when you phone them for the 1st time

Any comments or advice will be greatly received

Hi Chris
1st get the right person to speak to.
Tell them you'd like to drop in to see them, much better face to face.
If they put you off, don't see these as negatives, see them as genuine reasons.
Eg. they say there busy right now, you say I'm sorry I'll try later, and do try later etc.  Perseverance pays.  As long as you keep off my patch
And don't start your phone call by saying your name is Meerajanij Pajamapil
