My digital controller was doing something similar recently. Flow stopping and starting etc. When I opened it up something had burnt inside. I had to change the controller and now its fine. Hope you get it sorted mate.

Cheers,

check the wiring mate.mine started playing up after 2 and a half years without problems.ended up getting a whole new pumpbox and had to wait 5 days for delivery!! >:( >:( >:(

if its any help there is a place in leeds called pureclean who fix controllers and pumps to get you back working.they also sell controllers, pumps, batteries etc off the shelf.google them.i only found out about them after ordering pumpbox from a different company.

best wishes

First thing to do is to check the pump to see if its working. Our Shurflos have a red and a black wire from the motor. You need to get a battery as close to the pump as you can (or take pump off and take it to your vehicle battery). The red must get coupled to the positive terminal, black to the negative terminal. If the pump runs then the problem is either with the controller, connections or battery. If it doesn't run, the pump is the problem.

To disconnect the controller you need to recouple the pumps pressure switch into the electrical circuit. On the Shurflo pump it sits opposite the motor end and has 3 spade terminals. You will need to get a couple of female spade terminals to fit. The red cable to the motor will need to be plugged into one of the terminals and the power from the battery will need to go into the other terminal. The centre terminal of the three doesn't have a wire connected to it.
