using just pump and battery?
« on: November 27, 2012, 10:29:55 pm »
so guys how do i go about sorting this out?

i have a pure freedom trolley and digital controller not working.i think the pump and battery are fine so how do i go about not using controller and bypassing it altogether so battery is wired to the pump?

surely it cant be that hard to sort out?

i could be waiting all week for this ruddy pumpbox and im losing money every day im not working.im already 2 weeks behind!! :( :(

its a 100 psi shurflo pump and sealed 12v battery in a plastic case.

im thinking of tackling it tomorrow morning.

very best wishes to you all and hope someone can help me out!! ;D ;D

Just connect the red wire from the pump to the + on the battery and the black to the - terminal.

Get a switch, i.e. old light switch, and connect it to the + wire.

That's it really.

It may not look so wonderfull but it'll get you working.

If your not using the pressure switch on the pump don't turn the water off at the pole or you'll have a knackered pump coz it will keep going.

What happened to the controller? Did it just stop working or did you see any error messages?

How old is the controller battery and pump. Checking the pump connect Red to live and black to neutral, does the pump run, also what is the voltage on the battery?

I havnt  had a flow controller for years, i just use a trigger on pole. I like working with full pressure from pump to get a great clean and rinse. Saves so much time scrimping on water for me

What is the age of the controller? It may be repairable depending on what is causing the fault. Your new stream box will have the latest v11 controller with a low bat cut off override among other tweaks.
