Sebo duo issues New
« on: November 27, 2012, 08:02:45 pm »
hi guys i have a sebo duo which gets used about 1-2 times a week. i got it earlier in the year 2nd hand and it was working fine.

a few weeks ago one of the rollers jammed up good and proper. i stripped it down and it was jammed up/rusting. i gave it a clean and re assembled and it seemed ok. the next job it packed up within a couple of minutes with a knocking noise followed by a snapped belt.

fistly i need a new belt, but i am concerned there is more wrong with it.i have given it a good clean up on the rollers etc i presume a little grease over the axle the brush goes on will help it spin more freely?
if so what sort should i use?

thanks in advance
lew

the bearings get gubbed after a while. Buy new bearings on the side the belt snapped on. Its a common problem.

solutions or restormate, or sebo directly
