I think buying any van system would be mad. I mean its a tank, pump, could get a controller but I haven't, battery, reel, pole, few bits of hose to connect it all together, save thousands   ;D

I believe they've gone into liquidation, so, if something went wrong with it, would you be able to get parts / customer service?
Personally I would think twice before taking the plunge, especially due to their position at the moment and their track record when it comes to customer service from what I've read on this forum.
Are there other companies you could consider?

Brodex hmmm took one month to get my money back with the banks help.
I advise to keep well clear. Installing your own system is easy,if you get stuck
there's loads on here that can point you in the right direction.

Not been on the forums much recently. This is the first I've heard of brodex problems. Anyone got a link to any threads about it?

I cannot believe what these so called manufactures want for a system as it is really very simple engineering. Most make out as if its rocket science ITS NOT AT ALL..

you forgot to mention a securing tank
, there is not much of a sufferance in price doing this al yourself properly, it takes time to do everything and time is money.

It would be madness to do that if it wda up costing more

Yep your right haven't got a ramp to get under van so I paid a garage £50 to remove and refit fuel tank while it was off I fitted tank brackets.

Might be worthwhile if you can secure a hefty discount on the grounds that they may not be able to honour their guarantees.

Would you expect them to anyway - even without this "Liquidation" thing??!!

The reports on here of their after sales service have been worse than dismal at times!!  ::)

Hey ..I have a Brodex system and yes I have had a few problems but they have never failed to put it right. My system is coming up to 4 years old and still going strong with the maintainance I make sure I carry out regularly like all other systems.
The reason why I bought from them was the 3 year guarantee which said a lot about their commitment. I don't think I would have bought tho without it as I think I payed over the odds for the kit when you consider how much others cost. But it cost me no extra money in the first 3 years which I think is pretty good.
I didn't know anything about pure water reach and wash but now I am very experienced but to a great degree in those early years I relied on Brodex to help me, of which their expertise was invaluable. So I am glad I bought from them initially but I could do it again a lot cheaper with the experience I have now.
So thanks Brodex for your help as I now earn double what I earned for 23 years I was trad. But hopefully the system will keep going and going and going :)
Hope it helps !!!!

Hello,

We have a year old Brodex system that we are selling in a 2010 Primastar. The system has been fantastic - it's simple , reliable and economical. It still has 2 year guarantee.  Unfortunately due to illness we are having to sell the lot .
We are about to advertise but if any one is interested please give us a call on : 07752303369.

Sorry guys,

If Steve could get a system at a competitive price and guaranteed delivery/collection, why shouldn't he buy it?

I looked on their website and apart from the controller (which looks like a Varistream in a different format) everything else is available - Flojet/Shurflo pump, R/O, prefilters, di vessel etc. from other sources. If the worst came to the worst, then he could fit a different contoller.

I am I not seeing something?

I'm sure if you do a search under brodex then you will find a few recent posts - quite simple really.
