I once had a call back from a shirty sounding customer only to discover that the dirty marks were on the INSIDE of the window.

I've had one like that.

She's dead now, so I'm the one laughing  ;D.

I had this a few year back.
Bloke in the downstairs flat came out moaning that I was making his windows wet.
I offered to give them a rinse when i was done but he was having none of it.

So I said ok mate no problem you will need to follow the same procedure as normal. Eh? whats that he said?
Well when it rains i assume you complain to someone that your windows are wet so do the same today. When I get my copy of the complaint form I can then go to the HMRC and ask for a tax rebate.
He just looked stunned and went back inside.
Funny, but he never bothered me after that.
