You talk so much poope sometimes, i have built everything up i have today by using canvassers and have 1 of the best, biggest and compact customer bases in my area for which you can only ever get through persistant canvassing by using multiple canvassers, if i bought what i have today id have to find over 100k but the cost todo so with canvassers who replace dropouts has been not even 10k.
you are so wrong unless you can back up your thread with some solid proof that using canvassers is a bad idea???.

lol me ???????

Noddy, the guy in question has ripped many people off on here, despite warnings, he wouldn't operate as far down as you, so you're ok.

How's it all settling down?

Don't worry about what was written, that's someone being a little bitter.

He needs to spend less time in the gym, more time knocking doors...I do neither, so I can't talk!

the basic problem is kinda as follows.

Canvasser knocks door ,customer is over the moon that someone is coming over to clean windows for £20 they havnt been done in 3 years canvasser says its a monthly thing customer nods head but doesnt care all customer wants is that first clean window cleaner pays canvasser £40 works and gets half his money back customer then says ill call you window cleaner then says i thought it was regular customer says nah i thought i wanted it regular but this will do us for a year

canvasser then gets stick because window cleaner says customer canceled, canvasser then calls customer and the customer will say anything to get out of it for example not happy with work even thou windows were black and not cleaned in 3 years, canvasser then blames window cleaner, window cleaner then blames canvasser and it becomes a vicious circle,

but who is the person that has pretty much no blame?

THE CUSTOMER,

9X out of ten its the customer who is at fualt here think about it somone knocks on your door offering to clean your front for £8 why on earth would you say no? all this regular talk means nothing ,

2 ways around this problem

1, use some kind of contract canvasser will then maybe only get 3 cleans a day working all day

2, work on large volume of customers on a large numbers game
the average i use is 60% stay for 2nd clean 30% quite long term (if you get more then even better)
you have to also make sure you are in profit after the first clean not saying you should pay peanuts to canvasser otherwise he will not work
but needs to be a payment in which you are up after first clean or close if down only by 25% tops and what ever you pay make sure
you can afford to loose it cos guess what come 2nd clean you could loose entire streets.

i personally prefer option 2 its a painful process but walking around with say a 6 clean contract just wont work.

Its a warning to people who would want to use canvassers.   check them out , get them recommended by people on here if you must use them....

and mick kent... i aint very wrong at all, ... nor do i talk poop.... and i ain t naming names to satisfy you...

i built my very large customer base , alone... canvassing and leaflet dropping.

and decided to use canvassers to build a seperate area in another town.... as i needed it doing quickly, i used 3 different  canvassers, all were useless, getting useless or non existing calls.... one used buses, could not drive.... and wanted dropping off here there and everywhere,..... and even home.

I wont name names.... as its my right either way.

Check them out thoroughly... use them if you must

I wont... ever again,

just a warning to the lads on here.
