Working Reach Question
« on: November 11, 2012, 10:15:30 pm »
I'm trying to compare the carbon poles available on the market.

Confused with the working reach.

I know most of you will say ignore that, but how did they measure it?

If Elite 18 ft poles working reach is 20 ft from the waist,SLX and phoenix must be from shoulder or above as theirs 22 ft.

They are all different. Some add 4ft and others 2ft. Main thing to look at is the actual length then decide on your working reach (go up to your waist). Thats how i decided what i needed.

Be carefull as some companys just say length and include the working reach in that so you think your getting a 25ft pole but its actually a 22
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go
