pressure lost by DI vessel

when using DI vessel straight up to brush, how much pressure would you expect to lose by it.
Depend on vessel size you say?
I have 22'' high by about 7'
It seems to reduce the pressure/ flow by half!?

If i fill it too much with resin will this have an effect?

Any advice much appreciated  :)
