Sticky thermobore

Ive just got a roll of Gardiners thermobore, but it feels incredibly grippy/sticky. Dies it loose this feel with age? It's causing a lot of friction when pulling it around the houses.

Yes it will go in a few days. Good hose, seems to be wear resistant. Been using it for many months now.
