How does a 60ft Pole handle
« on: February 02, 2006, 05:45:32 pm »

  Hi, some help required please,

For those of you guys that have 60ft poles can you please let me know
how they handle and is there a risk of loosing control.

I was demonstrating WFP to a commercial client today and the question
came up is how safe are the poles, their main worry was if you loose
control of it and it falls on top of someone.

My demonstration was with a residential pole which can be a bit strenuous
  at 30ft.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

  Thanks

  Doug

Its a little bit like a ladder, you can keep the pole within the window boundarys fairly easily, its moving it from window to window you have to be careful of especially if theres a bit of wind. For Risk assesments I have never lost control of mine.
I would have to recomend the ergolite for reaching 65ft with your own outside the pole supply. Oh and dont forget its in 8ft sections so you need the knack or long arms.

Its a bit difficult ducking it under washing lines though  ;D
