Highest you have your pump
« on: October 30, 2012, 07:44:37 pm »
just swapped from layflat tank to 500lt upright..i know your meant to have the pumps as low as possible near the tank outlet but i want to put 2 of these near the top of the tank about 2-3 foot above the outlet of the tank.
Does anyone have there pumps like this and does it cause any problems
thanks

I have found it tends to be a problem when the water is lower and ive seen it on someone elses system where its sucked the hose in flat so it couldnt pull any water.

Try it, if it doesnt work youll have to move em. My personal preference is as low as possible.

i have a 650 flat tank, and mine is two foot above the tank..... always pumps immediately, even if i have to disconnect when clearing the van etc....

and i run it on number 3 on the varistream.... possibly 4 if i feel like billy whizz.
