Hi,
went to use my tds hand held monitor this evening, an it said Err, so i thougt that meant, error, so i changed the batteries, it still said Err, went to try it later before putting it away and it worked, for one reading, then went back to Err, i then  stuck a small screwdriver in the back to try and recalibrate it, no work, is Knakered ?   john

if you've turned the screw without setting to calibration fluid then it will not be reading correctly anymore

if the meter has been lying around in damp/wet conditions the electronic components may be shagged

best bet - buy a new one
