Hi Al

It is tough at the moment. I do EOT & carpet cleaning.

It is very quiet on the EOT side, people are not moving so less cleaning to be done, CC is also slow at the moment.

Do consider wisely. I am one of the few Dry carpet cleaners (soley dry) and although preferable for me over the wet, i have seen a definate downturn.

Sorry if it's not what you want to hear, hopefully you get some further feedback.

Also found out my last work place (i was in the industry for 20 years) is making people redundant, estate agents closing down.

Be careful

If your new venture of carpet cleaning is to be worked alonside an existing form of income then you may be able to make it work.
If you can make it work whilst the market is on a "downer" then you should be in a good position when it picks up again.
However, if you mean you want carpet cleaning to be your sole form of income then I think you may find it hard just at the moment.

Yes host dry cleaning is a good for carpet cleaning. It deep cleans your carpet and reduces dirt mites and mold from the carpet and leaves it fresh, clean, dry and ready to use.

The host is an excellent system There is a Franchise that uses it as Unique Selling Point as most Carpet Cleaners use a wet system . Why because it produces better results over a broader range of situations.  You might also want to look at Environtech  Or the Sebbo Duo if it is needed on an occasional basis .

Host is great for Keeping Up Appearances.  Many Carpet Cleaning Companies are able to offer three systems so you use the right one to suit the client needs but this does require substantial investment.

So why was this not moved to the carpet side "for a better response" to the original poster. Rather inconsistant IMHO  ::)
