Strange problem with my water
« on: September 20, 2012, 09:01:18 am »
Ok,.. so this is a strange one, but bear with me.

My dad lives out in the countryside & his house & 30 of his neighbours share a "Group water scheme",.. basically one well/borehole was dug & they all share the cost of running it. He's been landed with the job of testing the water quality recently, and has got his hands on some lovely little chemistry set type things for testing for contaminants etc. Being interested in water for my business I got him to check the water in my tank (His gadgets are much more advanced than out TDS meters!)

My TDS is reading 000 - but it turns out that there is a significant amount of dihydrogen monoxide in my water! (for info see http://www.dhmo.org/)

I checked the water straight after the ro (before DI) and it was still present,.. and its also present in the waste water! I've recently changed a membrane (about a month ago) and was wondering if there could still be traces of it coming out of the membrane? Obviously I'm more than a little concerned about this since I'm working with it daily!

And is your water coming from a borehole or the water mains Nathanael?
Also is DHMO present in your dad's water supply?

its used in baby food products and deodorants and used as a preservative in foods so somehow its getting into your water supply!!

also athletes use it to boost performance so i wouldnt worry about it!it might make you work harder for longer!! ;) ;D ;D ;D

everything we touch and eat has certain toxic substances in them.i dont think there is anything we can do about it really.we just rely on our natural immune system and enzymes to deal with the chemicals.

just dont drink your water!! ;D ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!
