hi guys,i been trad'ing for around 20 mnth's and still dont like using ladders. so im getting a trolley system form thecleaningwarehouse, wolverhampton! seems like a good spec but cant find any product reviews online( any1 got any experience with these?) anyways id realy like to know what i can expect from converting to wfp, got loads o questions but mainly want to know, how many 2-3 bed semi's can i do with a25ltr drum? same with bungalows,how many per 25ltr? and will i just be able to start using this wfp straight away or am i gonna have to learn some technique's?(been watching bits on youtube,naturaly) and will this make much difference to my speed?i usualy do 3-4 an hour with my wagtail depending on etc etc but admitidly am very picky cos its good buisness. am ordering this wfp next week, im getting the one i mentioned above as i have a vectra to work in so dont believe i can fit owt else in the boot and i only have a grand to spend, dont think id fit a 250ltr in the boot,or even a 150ltr,dont even know how much water i need per day to do 15 average size homes,besides,i intend on filling my round up know i got the gear.i got 120 cust per month, i do 15 per day, 3 days a week, giving me 4 days a week to............ great being a window cleaner innit! live in north wales so only need a di system. any advice or ideas would be great.cheers guys.

If at all possible I'd get a van or wait till you can afford one imho. I'm just getting going with wfp and I'm finding it slower than trad and a pain if I'm honest. Still doing all my houses first time with wfp. However I'm taking it slow, working without a pump controller for the time being so u can really blast dirt from above frames and seals, up to now fingers crossed no complaints   . I'm just glad the van mount enables me to use that amount of

I had a trolley to start. Get a van mount. You can pick up a van for £500.

Honestly peopls are so quick to say get a van and system,,,,,, yes that's the best option if funds allow ,if not a trolley or backpack will be more then good enough I started in feb with a backpack ,went fron none to around 240 customers in 3 months ,only changed to van as I could afford it,only difference is filling up with bottles ,I used to carry 200 litres ,10 bottles in a rover 25 ,with nil issues ,of course a van system is easier ,but the car was good enough,more then enough ,go with the budget .

I reckon that a van mount is cheaper/similar priced. Now, for me starting a trolley was the best way as we only had one car, but if we had two then a van mount would have been best. Sell a car and buy a van.

nto sure at the min but i stopped another local windy and he said the reading around here is pretty low,he uses a di system.

thanks, stuck with car for now as its shared with my dad and a vans no good to him so car it is . so how many houses did you get per 25ltr drum? and how quick is it on the pole? i can do some bungalows in 10 min with wagtail(squeegee) thats frames n all. takes me around 20-30 min for a 2-3 bed semi,will wfp speed things up at all?

You get very quick, especially on monthly work. I don't often time myself, but did for one on Friday. 3 bed semi, extended at the back with two second storey windows on the side. I timed it as I was stresing that it was underpriced. I still think it is, but from pulling up to pulling away it took just under 12 minutes.

I found with drums that on average I would get one house per drum. So 10 drums for me meant 10 houses.

nice 1,was just sitting here wandering wether or not to bother going wfp as had some negative feedback! the job u described would prob take me 30-40 min, peeing round with a ladder n all that slows me right down, did you use a hose and leave the trolley in the motor? or did you find wheeling trolley round better? thanks for message m8, needed to hear that.

I used to wheel the trolley, but now I leave it in the van and use a reel. No way I would do the house in 12 minutes with the trolley. Still quicker than ladders, but van mount is much quicker.

3 bed semi let's say 3 windows & door at front same at back, one upstairs at side and one down takes me trad just under 15 mins (timed myself the other day, did 4 plus a front of these in an hour) I like to get an idea of what I can earn in an hour without rushing around. I'm hoping to get these houses down to 10 mins each with wfp I reckon that's a realistic speed to aim for.

Just remember, when WFP, sometimes there's dripping issues, so, sometimes can't be rushed.
Even if you take 15 mins to do a std 3 bed semi, it's safer, and no humpung heavy ladders....

Also,try experimenting,do all uppers then ground floor, or try all rears, then all fronts.
