good advice.  i would say stop worrying.  it never gets that bad.  if its too cold you cant work, if its not that cold then you can work so you are never out when its -20 anyway.  if you look at lost work over an average winter its only 2 or 3 days

Long johns under your trousers are a must, and a bag of rock salt for where you have sprinkled is polite.

It doesn't last that long down here in the south though, I must admit.
A manager is generally someone who has been promoted to the position by someone else who didn't see them as a threat.
Hence all people are promoted to the level of their incompetence
