Websites yes or no
« on: September 13, 2012, 12:06:42 pm »
Hi,

How important do you feel having a website for a drive-cleaning business is? do you find you get a lot of calls from customers via a website or is most from leafleting and recomendations?

Is there any such thing as a free website?

thnx John

I wouldn't bother, I don't think they will catch on.

Hi,

Just wondering what others thought, we had one for our previous drive cleaning business cleanblockpaving.co.uk but never had anything from it, tried yellow pages nothing doing there either, tried paying for leaflet distribution think they just binned them, the only way at that time we got work was doing the leafleting ourselves and building up referals.

Websites work - others don't. The seo must work for your area and be words Joe public would use. Go back to leaflets - why stop if it works for you and build good wom repeat work. I give out hundreds of business cards which have all my other services on the back. I've not even got my new van sign written at the moment but still fill every week mostly

Hi,

Leaflets will be the way to go again for us, I just thought it looked good on the old leaflets having a website addy, we did it through an American company called tiptop websites they were good and easy to use, just been looking for a similar Uk based one thats cheap and easy to use.
