any one got any ideas how to get scratches out of upvc window cill

how deep are they??
we use Thompson upvc restorer from B&Q and its great stuff for only a fiver
takes a bit of elbow grease tho

not too deep but deep enuf to have got ingrained with dirt over time from one of our brush heads i think ive got a bit of restorer il try that tmoz thanks

You can't properly remove deep scratches ,but with a restorer it will remove the dirt fron whithin making them very difficult to see.

They wouldn't appreciate that!
Astonish works well with a white scouring pad. Hard graft is the only way.

I use astonish upvc cleaner, which I think is great - but I don't think it will help with scratches into the upvc sill - if it's marks left from the brush stock, no problems

have they requested that you remove the scratches? or do you just want them to look as good as poss??
I wouldnt waste time and money removing or trying to remove the scratches unless they were being charged extra!?
Just give them a wipe with restorer and they will come up fine

Honestly your opening a can of worms with repairing scratched cills ,just remove remove the dirt and you won't see the scratches,you start trying to improve ,I believe you will make it worse and draw attention to it.

But i bet you would like your gardener to repair your lawnmower if he was suitable to do so?

last time I looked, my lawnmower didn't have a car engine
