If you need something immediately, use the old hose clip available from all garden centres and motor factors.

Warm the hose in hot water and use a  larger tie  wire.

If it is for hose repair I use the inline barb fittings then wrap some amalgamating tape around join works everytime and does not snag like the clips .Mike
