another lesson learnt
« on: August 08, 2012, 02:11:53 pm »
got a call from a curry house i know well, wanting their sign cleaned.  i gave them a quote over the phone cos i know roughly how big the sign is etc.
i get there especially early this morning and its one of those signs where the lettering is individually away from the wall, encased in what looks like aluminium.  anyway, its only a one off and i wish i'd never taken it on.  The metal is incredibly dirty and wfp is not removing it at all.  I charged em 15 quid but im expecting them to call me tonight asking if i have even come.
such a pain, i'm not expecting to get paid to be honest as ive hardly made any difference.
lessons learnt- avoid one offs, and always quote on site, not on the phone
