We've been asked by one of our regular Clients to carry out builders' cleans on a 38 room hotel (two blocks of 19 ensuite rooms) in Newark. This will have to be done in one hit in either of the last two weeks in July.

Distance wise this would be on our limit but due to other commitments, holidays and a long term sick member of staff I'm going to struggle to get this done.

If anyone reading this has proven builders clean experience on a medium to large scale then email me your details and give me some idea of projects successfully completed in the past. If you sound upto it I'll pass on more detail so you can let me have your quote.

CSCS is essential for all employees, as will be upto date H & S everything, insurances. All staff will also require PPE. Supervision of all staff / liaison with client on site also essential.

Nope, looks like were going to have to commit to it. Will put my quote in tomorrow but we do tend to get these when offered. If over we just get told budget and come to an agreement.

Nice, fair and honest client, which as we all know are somewhat rare these days. Only problem we have with them is ever shifting dates, which on larger jobs can be a right pain but it is usually down to other subbies running over or deadlines being shifted by their clients. At least July tends to be a quit month on Builders Cleans

Who does the externals for them?

They rarely need the externals doing as they're modular buildings. On the odd occasion when required they use a local company to their office for acid washing.

They are a national company however so Ill ask their MD tomorrow.

As it happens I'm sorting the MD's block paving out ASAP but we no longer offer acid washing as it was too much of a bind on top of everything else we do.

Hi Tim, Grimsby is out of area I'm afraid.

Commercial kitchen deep cleans are something we don't yet cover. We do this for domestic and EOTs and have recently purchased an Osprey Steamer to speed things up and maybe progress into more commercial stuff. Unfortunately it is more of a Puffin than and Osprey as it was purchased from a con artist via ebay (see my earlier posts) 

We tend to work within a 50 mile radius of Walsall, West Midlands but will work farther if for a regular client or the job itslef justifies it.

ok thanks, i assumed you were based in Newark area.
I have previously done work in Walsall, High levels in Saddler Centre.
Reason i asked about Grimsby, is i have some Kitchens coming up there.
