Numatic Loline 13" Rotary
« on: June 23, 2012, 06:39:46 pm »
I've been looking at getting something better than a Sebo Duo for agitating, my initial thoughts were maybe an Oreck Orbiter or Cleanfix Floormac but now I've come across the Numatic Loline Rotary which might be a more versatile machine but only costs a few pounds more. I am on a budget so don't want to spend loads before someone suggests TM4 ect.

So my question is out of the ones I've mentioned which would be the better one to get. :)

If your not fixed on buying a rotary then look for a second hand Rotowash! They are perfect for agitation.

I'm sure one sold on ebay last week for under £300

The multiwash is practically the same

My favourite on small rotary side is sprite 300 but the loline is also not bad machine and it folds up, aren’t the other two op machines think Doug H won one once

The multiwash looks a good machine but hard work on stairs as all crb excluding Duo ;)

Too light for any type of bonneting really, but ok for agitation

Those minitex machines would be ideal for stairs though.

I have a new brush for a 13" Numatic surplus to requirements should you go down that route. Been kicking around our showroom for a couple of years with no machine to attach it to.

I've got the Loline 13" - I think it's great for agitation, so much so that now I use it more than my Envirodri or Oreck.

Low profile head means you can get under sideboards or beds etc:

As for bonneting - well I don't do much commercial, so I can't really comment.

Same as Steve,  I use mine all the time on domestics, it is just the right size and weight. I think it is too light for commercial use.

Which model have you got Steve / Derek? NLL332 or NLL415 the main difference that I can see is that one is 200rpm and the other is 150rpm and slight difference in size.

I had the chance of a loline ....

http://www.numatic.co.uk/mobile/products4.aspx?id=172&r=5&sr=24

.....but was told the motors did'nt last,

I might think again, I need something smaller than the orbitals that i use. This look an ideal alternative thats not too heavy

I bought one for the same reason Mike, its ok for light work but it has no weight so to aggitate anything trashed it doesnt cut the mustard. Like me you will just end up moving it on. Its a bit like comparing a sebo duo to an envirodri

Yes that was the machine I was looking at Mike.

The alternatives i am looking at are an Oreck or Floormac, baring in mind my primary use for getting one of these machines would be agitating domestic carpets as I don't feel my sebo duo is good enough.

I should add that in addition to the Loline I also have an Oreck and an Envirodri and a larger rotary - they all get used on different jobs for different reasons, you can never have too much equipment  ;)
