In line RO unit
« on: January 17, 2006, 10:51:41 pm »
There are a lot of topics on the forum which talk about RO units/tanks/garages and how to set up your deIonising system, but could I run" tap - RO unit - Resin tank - water tank", leave the tap on overnight, and wake up to 400 lts of pure water in the morning? It would have to be well timed, but is this possible and do any of you do it this way? Any advice would be much appreciated as I don't have a garage or shed, and am currently using a bag of resin every 8 weeks(just hooking the DI tank up to the tap at 148 TDS), which ain't cheap!

YES IITS POSS:USE A RO-MAN RO 200 GALLONS PER DAY ,di vessel in between ro and large holding tank =000tds, can leave it running 24/7, if your running low on water through the week youve got the weekend to top your supply up or link a smaller tank as a back up supply, then transfer it into holding tank in van
with a transfer pump.
