Lesson learned

Went out clubbing Friday, pulled ligaments in ankle, ankle went black swollen up couldn't go work Monday. Managed to go Tuesday and wednesday for a couple hours, both days in the soaring heat working about 10-3, only earned £120 for both days as I was considerably slower.
Went out wednesday night got absolutely slaughtered in the sun down pub all day with the lads, must've had 10-15 pints. On walking home fall down a hole where they've been doing some work and broke my thumb!! So had to have Thursday off, went for it Friday 8-12 bearing through the pain, thinking I might just learn one day....
So this week I've earned about £150 could've been double and I'm gutted and injured!

give up the drink mate!sounds like what my life used to be like!nearly 6 years sober now!! ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

oh and i have a good business with money in the bank! ;) ;D ;D

i did badly sprain my ankle playing football last year and was off for nearly a month!expensive fall but no money worries as i just dipped into my emergency fund.


get well soon!!....oh.....and...........eh.....stay out of the pub!! ;) ;D ;D ;D

When I think back about most injuries ive had, being in trouble with the law, being in fights, missin days at work, being in trouble the other half, mainly being a complete ejit, was when i was loaded full of booze  :o

You'd think we would learn from it but hey tonight will be out on the town doing it all again  ;D

Dont even know why do it at this stage really, afraid of missin something i think, and tbh its same shít different weekend mostly...

Is it similiar for the rest of you are have i a problem here  ::)

Yes mate can't stay in when everyone's out winds ya up a good un! I've done both these injuries before and thankfully they are recovering rapidly this time around!
I would sign on the dole and let it heal properly but they mess around so much, take about a month to pay you pittance, may aswell carry on
And custys are very sympathetic and/or amused by the funny tales you've got to tell them!
