Spotting maching advise
« on: May 11, 2012, 08:37:20 am »
Hello!

I know this questions has been addressed many times but I and looking at several spotting machines for cleaning areas in hotel rooms.
Needs to be portable and of professional standard, been looking at :

CFR spotter
Prochem Bravo (larger version)
Aquarius pro valet

The first two are gonna set me back about £600 but are good quality machines.
The pro valet machine I know nothing about...

Please advise guys

Cheers

Russ :-)

Not the usual choice / recommendation on here but I use this: -

Great for spotting but also OK for cleaning small rooms where access tricky.

You wouldn't want to have to use this all the time but for what you want this is worth considering. May have been replaced by a newer version as I bought ours 4 years ago.

The air flex looks like a nice compact machine but I'm a little confused about the solution capacity ? It's says 22 litres in the specs... Is that 11 lts solution and 11 lts recovery?
Also can a small wand be used with this machine ?
Price works out £100 cheaper than the Prochem Bravo (£600) on eBay

What are your thoughts?

It's 11 litres solution tank, i suppose you could put a wand on it. Give Matt a ring, if you want a small machine to do carpets with you might like the e-line sabrina or the 5000. Both from restormate.

Hi Russ

We use the Aquarius Pro valet as our spotter/small areas..Its a great little machine for areas like bedrooms..Mobile homes.

It also got out of sh** 2 week ago when our pump went wrong on us doing a town house..We always carry it on our van just in case.

I've got a CFR which we use for stain removal jobs in cabins on ships. It's really good and compact but not sure it would be much use for carpet areas beyond rugs etc.

Hi Russ..Simon is right i do use an aquarious spotter..

Think its a great little machine and the wand that comkes with it splits into 2 so easy to carry and store..

Even do a few suites with it..

Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.
