I recieved my resi-neck with swivel adapter from Gardiners yesterday and put it to the test today,well I should have bought one of these little jems ages ago,it makes cleaning windows at angles much more easier and a complete joy to use,I think I'll fit all my poles with them , for those who don't have one,you must get one and they're not much more expensive than the normal plastic adapters,I really recommend them as I say cleaning windows is so much easier!

Been using swivels for years, couldn't work without one, they make everything below 25ft SO much easier & faster!

The Gardiner resi-neck ones are superb!

same here,have tightened mine up,it all goes to loose for me and then locks up in the wrong position on the glass

You HAVE to get used to working with one. You can't just pop one on & expect it to feel & work great, it WILL feel weird to begin with.

The tension needs to be set so that the brush will swivel freely when you twist the pole but not so loose that the brush flops to one side when lifted off the glass.

Took me a little while to get used to it. I use it regularly on first cleans but I have gone back to the fixed carbon goose neck for maintenance work. I use it on the odd difficult to reach window and conservatory/velux roofs. Excellent addition to the arsenal. I felt the bolt needed tightening a tiny bit, I didn't quite like the standard swivel action. Now it's fine.

Need to try it with 90 degree socket though, as I'm still using the angled socket, seems a bit funny this way.

I have just ordered one but didn't even this of the 90 degree socket does it make muck difference?

No it works just as good, I can't use 90 degree brush angles & have always used one with 45 degree.

They last too! Haven't taken mine off since they came out apart from gutter cleans. Best invention since the brush.

I use mine with the 90 degree socket and am really pleased with it,it does'nt take long to get used to it,can't wait for tomorrow,sad or what
