using customers hose ?
« on: April 14, 2012, 08:23:18 am »
where do you think we stand on using custies hose, I usually hook my pole up to clean a conservatory roof and facias etc and have a couple of jobs lined up for next week these jobs would be a nightmare without using a hosepipe isnt this  technically commercial use?, so think i will just carry on as normal, and hope i dont get any hassle, what do you all think, never thought i would enjoy seeing it rain but we  had some heavy rain for the first time in ages this week,  we need some more CHEERS

Interesting ... I was thinking of asking a few customers if I could use their hose.

 I would then go around singing ...

 "I got hose I got hooose in different area codes area codes"

 ;D

if your cleaning a conny roof or fascia clean in a hosepipe ban area then i think its banned mate if your using the customers outside tap.why dont you just use your water in your tank(or are you still 100% trad?).

i do use customers outside taps sometimes if its a big conny/fascia clean but usually i use the pure in my tank.
price higher/work harder!

that is probably another option i can try, just seems a waste of pure, when tap water does just as good a job and in effect you,re using more water than is needed to do the job when you take into consideration the waste water when producing pure.

I always use customers water for conny roofs and fascias.using pure water from pole just takes to long to wash down.
Thats just my opinion and i will carry on because we are allowed at present.

If its at the back of the house - who's going to know? You stand more chance of winning the lottery than you do of getting caught.

the customer understand that you don't need pure water to clean a conservatory roof.
I always say: I use your tap water for the roof and my pure water for your windows! never had any prob.  ;)
