I have had both and they both have advantages/disadvantages over eachother, I currently use a mosmatic, it looks and feels alot better and seems more robust, it also is great if you use quick release lances as you can put a fitting on the mozzy so that it just clicks into your gun straight from a lance so no need to keep turning machine off every time you want to swap.... but i find that the nozzles rotate slower than on a whirlaway and this seems to affect the speed i can walk across surfaces whilst cleaning, although that may just be me or my machine, it's a 21 inch and i run a 15 litres, the nylon skirt sometimes 'grabs' the floor if the ground is slightly uneven, ive raised the wheels to stop this but this then defeats the object of having a nylon skirt as it's raised from the ground. my whirlaway was an 18 inch running same flow but seemed to spin faster, the nozzles rotate alot more freely if I spin them with my hand, therefore easier for the water to thrust them round, ie, it seemed that I was able to clean surfaces a little faster without leaving rings. Although a whirlaway might clean slightly better and be less labourous to push without risk of 'grabbing' the ground, they have alot more components that can go wrong and cost quite alot to get fixed, saying that though i ran one for 18 months without a problem at all.... it's probably a case of personal opinion
