Gutter clearance?
« on: March 12, 2012, 01:38:02 pm »
Hey hope its not too off topic

just picked up a house that wants their gutters clearing as a 1off, I havent done it before but am guessing its not too tricky. Just one question... I said id come have a look and quote for it, but what is a good pricing structure for gutterings?

Standard 2 storey, 2 bed terraced so its one section of front + 1 section of back - should be an easy one

Thanks for all your help!

David

if it just too clear the gutters out id say 15 quid a side if standalone job where your driving out your way to go to the job etc, if doing when cleaning the windows maybe ten quid a side

if its fascia, soffit and gutter clean with a clear out then 25-35quid a side depending on your area

what i meant was if your were driving to the job to just clear out the gutter gotta be 15 a side to make it worthwhile but if doing when already there and ladders out etc then get away with 10quid a side

do it your last job if using a ladder as it is very messy and you feel dirty after doing it you should complete it in about 35 min so charge about £25

Ta guys

it looks like an easy one (relatively) so i think i may go in at £40 and if she grumbles take it down a few clicks...

£20 a length is my normal charge and they always go for it so don't go in to cheap
