D.I.Y PURE WATER TROLLEY

AS A SORT OF NEWBIE ON THIS FORUM, IS IT POSSIBLE TO BUILD A PURE WATER TROLLEY, THE SORT TO GO ON A SACK TRUCK.   AND WHAT IS THE CHEAPEST WAY TO MAKE PURE WATER ??? WOULD RAIN WATER BE ANY GOOD  ???.
 I AM WORKING TRADITIONAL WAYS BUT NEED PURE WATER TO SPEED UP OTHER WORK, ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT
