know where theres a doblo going cheap im going to be changing to wfp do you think this will do as a starter what are they like on fuel and pulling

Excellent - my 1.3 jtd (736kg payload) has had a 400L in it and its even capable of pulling a trailer with an extra 200L and another bloke on board.

For window cleaning type work (no long runs) 40 plus mpg without trailer; 36 mpg with.

It's a game of three halves!

Just cant trust the mpg computer on them, every VW ive had has exaggerated fuel economy by about 10%  :-\ :'(

Fancy getting me a 4motion next time around, apparently do them in the caddy and in the transporter........thats if i can afford it.

My caddy only has 5 gears, 6 would be nice as above 65mph it does start to drop mpg, esp with the bigger wheels on

Overseas everyone knew that their cars speedo overread so you could safely travel and 130kph and know you were within the 120kph speed limit and you wouldn't get nicked for speeding.

What most people didn't know was that their mileometers also over read by 10%, so you were also getting a better fuel consumption by 10% than you actually were - a feel good factor for free if you like. If you were a company that replaced cars every 100,000 kms the cars had only done 90,000kms so the manufacturers were scoring all the way to the bank. Oh, by the way, all the manufacturers were guilty of doing it.

You're right AS - take the fuel consumption computer reading with the proverbial "pinch of salt".

interesting spruce.  tho my brother reckoned the mileometer was accurate, even if Speedo wasn't. haven't got round to checking that myself, but every car Speedo has been out, yes, by about 10%(until I put bigger rims on :D)
