How much per hour?

I have a cousin of mine out of work at the moment and got him doing chewing gum removal all this week from a school carpet. What`s the going rate for something like that? was thinking of about £8 per hour (£65 per day).
Does that sound about right?

If he's earning £65 he otherwise wouldn't have been, he's happy about it then fine.
