A guy posting about modifying a porti's heat from its vac motors through copper pipes wrapped around the motors a bit like the amtech machines?

I've searched for the posts but can't find them??

Can’t remember that one, but remember copper tube fuel rap round on Lucas fuel pump on TR6 (http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID006599) changed it to Bosch pump. Think it proceed someone innovation  ;)

The 'perfect heat ' design is neat and takes up little space ...

Had this pic saved of a 'finned exchanger ' mounted in a mytee M5

Perhaps best efficiency would be a slim metal box or tube ,lined with foam , with your exchanger or copper coil inside ... vent the exhaust from all vacs through the tube ... would also act as a silencer .
provided there's room to fit it ...
