How to protect microbore hose connector?
« on: February 01, 2012, 05:05:43 pm »
How do you protect the Microbore hose connector when it is on the floor so as to stop it getting worn and damaged?

Where the pole hose is connected to my 8mm hose, I have taped loads of Duck tape around the hose so as to keep it off the ground but it looks rubbish and gets very tatty. I have tried the protecta-ball or tennis ball but the hole enlarges over time and slides along the hose and offers no protection at all.  I would love to see a ball that is in 2 halves and can screw together tightly over the 8mm hose but have not found anything suitable.

What do you guys do? or what can you suggest?
