Been in Bury today,rush job cleaning a new car showroom..1600 sq foot very soiled carpet.
Got more or less done in the upstairs section,wand slipped out of my hand as I was moving it out the way,and I caught it on the hose between trigger and jets,flipping thing snapped the connector where it joins onto the jets.
Much panicking,managed to swap it round,and luckily it held up long enough to get done,there was barely any thread left to screw in,so no idea how I got through it.
Called my local hyd hose place,and luckily the have a mobile van in Suffolk,so could have used them if it did go t1ts up.
No tales of woe sorry !!
Going to go and get it fixed tomorrow,before I do a language school tomorrow eve.
Job took me 7 hours,taking it easy,and had lunch break

Very quiet Jan,up until the last week,big stress over my tax bill,thinking I was gonna be in trouble,but just got a £1200 rebate,so that's all good,work is also coming in now.
Did have over £800 worth of work scheduled for beginning of Jan, 1  company got bought out,and carpet cleaning is no longer their priority other one decided to replace,as in fairness it was getting pretty worn out.
But will be there in 6 months time doing the usual maintenance clean for them..
