Price is a price - it makes no odds to the client if there is vat on top or not. I've never had anyone say it goes against me. I pay vat on everything £2k in vat on my new van (57plate), £1k in vat on my new enduro bike which is also a company vechicle not to mention the kit I bought last year. My accountant is happy about the vat but has kittens when she thinks the threshold is looming  ;) I may be mad but I'm happy

My mate has a painting firm and he rides a Hayley - he takes the wheels off and uses it as a wacker plate  ;D Why not just put it down as plant
